Efoil Battery Case Details

The composite eFoil battery box is a high-performance, lightweight enclosure specifically engineered to house and protect the power system of electric hydrofoils (eFoils). Constructed using advanced composite materials such as carbon fiber or glass fiber reinforced polymers, this battery case delivers an optimal balance of durability, waterproof integrity, and thermal management.

Our Composite Electric Surfboard Battery Case Features

Built with aerospace-grade composite materials, the battery box provides exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, contributing to improved overall eFoil performance and extended ride times. The maximum load from the mast connection point is 195kg for one of our OEM projects. Feel free to contact us to see the test video.

The composite structure is engineered to support passive heat dissipation, maintaining safe operating temperatures and extending battery lifespan during high-performance use.

The carbon or glass fiber finish provides a modern, tech-forward appearance that complements the streamlined design of premium eFoils.

Since efoil components can vary in size, efoil battery boxes often need to be customized accordingly. Please feel free to contact us for more details — we’d be happy to assist you!

Every battery case box is custom-made — which means your input is essential. Our expert team will work closely with you to ensure the final product fits your design, performance, and branding requirements perfectly.

Why Prepreg Compression Molding?

Prepreg compression molding for efoil battery cases are an advanced composite manufacturing technology that uses prepregs for molding. These materials offer the following:

  • Lightweight: Due to the high strength-to-weight ratio of the composite fibers used (such as carbon or glass), components produced via prepreg compression molding are significantly lighter than their metal counterparts. This is particularly beneficial in industries like aerospace, automotive, and sports equipment, where weight reduction is crucial.
  • Dimensional Accuracy and Repeatability: The molding process provides tight tolerances and high dimensional stability. This means parts can be reproduced consistently with minimal variation, which is important for high-volume production or components requiring precise fitting.
  • Stronger: Prepregs are manufactured with precise resin content and fiber alignment, ensuring consistent and superior mechanical performance. This results in high tensile strength, impact resistance, and fatigue durability, making them ideal for demanding structural applications.
  • Lower Waste and Clean Processing: Since prepregs are premeasured and tailored for the mold, material waste is minimized. Additionally, the process is relatively clean and environmentally friendly compared to open-mold techniques, which may involve excess resin handling.
